At the Lexington Shrine Hospital, the children had to travel down a very long gray hallway on their way to surgery. Thanks to the Ladies Oriental Shrine, and an outstanding artist with a heart of gold, this hallway has been transformed into what you see pictured here. In 2000, ladies from all over the United States and Canada came together to dedicate the mural along this long hallway where at the end of the hall, the children enter the surgical ward through the “Big Top” doorway thus taking some of the fear and anxiety felt by a small child entering the unknown.

The lobby of the Greenville Unit diverts the concerns of the children as they enter the hospital by using a Jungle themed lobby complete with an elephant and waterfall.
Toys and games from El Said #28 that was shipped to the Cincinnati Unit.
The Ladies of Asebi Court No. 36, Chattanooga, TN delivered 60 homemade lap quilts, some crib size, 120 tote bags, several decorated pillow cases, some small pillows, 10 bags of cosmetics and 53 bracelets for girls to the Greenville Shrine Hospital. The Ladies have made several deliveries of the same type of items to the Cincinnati Shrine Hospital and the Lexington Shrine Hospital. They enjoying getting together and sewing for the children. Each child chooses his or her own quilt to take home with them which gives the Ladies a truly "warm and fuzzy" feeling.
